What do you think of Tarot cards?
I was hard pressed to believe in Tarot cards but I was given a free reading by a friend. She said I was have a run-in w. the law and a death card was drawn. Within the next month I got pulled over for speeding and my mother-in law died. Now I’m not sure what to think.. kinda strange for a coincidence, or maybe not. What are your experiences?
421: A friend did it for free at the Casino I worked at.
MAC: I was reluctant to do it, but did it anyway.

They are very interesting.

If they’re used by someone who has understanding of how to use them, they can be a good tool. Any type of divination cards can be. Depends on whether the person using them has a gift for it.

Turbo tax no longer free?
I can’t get it to print my returns w/o submiting my credit card #. I’ve read here that it’s free if you mail the forms in yourself.
it’s 34.95 for the CA state form and 29.95 for the Federal

Suggestion by Phil
No, you need to pay for turbotax no matter what way you file. just pay the fee and have it taken out of your return…you’ll be happier in the long run

Suggestion by The Zabler
Negatory..you are mistaken. They are a for profit entity (Intuit). You have to pay to use their product.

Is this a new memory card or have you used it before?

If you have used it before, it could be corrupt and you need to re-form it. You can do this with the Windows Disk Management tool by right-clicking on “My Computer” and clicking on “Manage” then proceed to navigate to “Disk Management.” Right-click on your memory card if it’s listed there and choose “Format.” You can generally use the default settings in the format screen without changing anything. You may choose a name if you want.

If it doesn’t read the memory card at all, there is a chance that the file-system isn’t recognized by Windows Disk Manager and you will need to try using a third-party disk management program to restore it to a usable file-system (some names to try: Acronis, Paragon, Partition Magic which is now owned by Symantec I believe). There are typically free trial or shareware versions of these applications, but I can’t guarantee they will help.

If you’ve never used the memory card before, there’s a chance it’s a fake. Many online merchants sell memory cards that appear to be functional and legit but are in fact total fakes that will corrupt and fail repeatedly. Return it if you can.

Otherwise, if it’s a cheap card, just toss it like I did. The things are finicky.
